Caramella was born from the heart, from Grelymar Dugarte’s love for God and her determination. As a pastry chef, wife, and mother, she found in baking not just a profession, but a purpose. Before emigrating, she was a founding partner of Industrias del Rey in Mérida, Venezuela, a factory dedicated to making cakes and desserts. There, she built a solid foundation in production, technique, and business acumen. Upon arriving in the United States, she decided to start over, honing her skills in contemporary techniques and advanced decoration.What could have been a limit turned out to be turned into momentum. In 2022, she founded Caramella: a brand that honors her Venezuelan roots, her professional experience, and the belief that every new beginning can become something extraordinary.
